Itemize

Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective September 18, 2026

Itemize exists to document what you own — so this policy is written the same way: plainly, and itemized. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and who (if anyone) sees it.

Information we collect

How we use it

To run the inventory service itself: syncing your rooms and items across your devices, generating the reports you export, giving you support when you ask for it, and — only when you use AI Scan — auto-filling item details from a photo.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data, and we don't use your photos or inventory to serve ads. A small number of providers process data strictly to help us run the app:

Storage & security

Your data lives in Supabase's database and storage, access-restricted to your account. Passwords and sign-in tokens are handled by Supabase Auth, Apple, or Google directly — we never store them in plain text.

Your choices

Deleting your data

You can edit or delete any item, room, or photo inside the app at any time. To delete your account and everything tied to it, go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app — it's immediate and permanent. You can also email itemize.co@gmail.com if you'd rather we do it for you.

We keep your data only for as long as your account is active. When your account is deleted, your inventory, photos, and account details are removed from our active systems immediately.

You can also revoke location or notification permissions anytime in your device's settings.

Children's privacy

Itemize isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use Itemize after a change means you accept the update.
